Growing up in New England, Josie Harris developed an early fondness for forest-dwelling creatures—a curiosity that grew into a lifelong passion for wildlife and storytelling. Using her background in biology, Josie helps scientists and environmental organizations communicate their work through engaging videos, and creates films that spotlight the natural world. She made her directorial debut with the documentary short, Uncovering Animal Minds, which has screened at film festivals nationwide.
